Senior Scrum Master and Technology Project Manager

What does a successful Senior Scrum Master and Technology Project Manager do at Fiserv?

This is a hybrid role – Scrum Master and Technology Project Manager. You will consult with engineering team and product team on the projects or services delivery. You will help support existing business systems applications and demonstrate proficiency and leadership within agile methodologies. You will balance and prioritizes project work efficiently. You will use your excellent communication, strong problem solving and management skills to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

  • Manage project’s scope and timeline

  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure project delivery meet strategic goals

  • Ensure business processes are running in accordance with Agile methodologies. Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups. Guide development and product teams to higher scrum maturity

  • Consult with key stakeholders to determine business objectives and success factors/end goal/acceptance criteria. Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests

  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaborations within and outside the team. Collaborate with team members to collect, analyze, and evaluate information from multiple sources

  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur within the team and help teams implement changes effectively

  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders along with project progress and status updates

What you will need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience working on technology projects in Agile framework

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager

  • 8+ years of experience with Scrum techniques and artifacts such as - User Stories, Feature, Epic, Backlog Refinement

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite, Clarity, Jira and Confluence

  • 3+ years of experience in financial industry and knowledge of financial technologies, standards, and industry regulations (i.e., Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards)

  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM/PSM) and servant leadership skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in working on end-to-end (E2E) delivery of the project

  • Experience with GIT, JIRA, Confluence
