Job Description:
L3 Harris Technologies is seeking an individual to support Program Finance and join the Finance Department of the Military Displays Division. This position will be responsible for supporting key PL programs and pursuits including completing OSPI forecasting and analysis, assisting to ensure proper financial program execution to include revenue recognition, customer reporting, preparing EACs, and various ad hoc analyses. Current position vacancy is to support the MRO commercial product line.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of budgets for large and/or complex programs. Generate budgets, forecast funding profiles to ensure adequate funding available and within negotiated positions.
Assist in project setup and approval using the CAAF system and People Soft.
Monitor and control cost for both internal and external customers.
Perform Estimate at Completions (EAC’s), assess profit impacts and provide variance explanations
Responsible for P&L forecasting of Orders, Sales, Profit and Investments including identifying Risks & Opportunities (R&O) as well as preparing various ad hoc financial analyses and presenting as required to Sr. Management.
Interface with various levels of management, Program Office and functional departments to support programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management or General Business
Minimum of three years of Finance Experience, preferably in government contracting.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge and/or experience in financial stability, analysis, negotiations, cost/schedule development, budgeting, Excel spreadsheets, customer/management reporting, accounts payable, financial analysis and reporting, accounts receivable, financial systems, financial planning, financial modeling, corporate forecasting, contract compliance and/or business acquisitions.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft ERP.
