    Purpose:

    Prepare dining room by setting tables and stations according to dining room standards and ensure resident satisfaction by serving food and beverages.

    Essential Duties:

  • Execute New Hire Training covering all operational server functions

  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings for each meal period reviewing menu items, ingredients, preparation techniques, and service issues with wait staff.

  • Ensure proper set-up, execution and cleanup of dining room activities including Marketing reservations, Birthday Breakfast, New Resident Breakfast and other activities.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas including carpets, tables and table bases, chairs, windows, server stations, ceiling tiles, walls, and all other resident areas.

  • Assist the Dining Room Manager in the scheduling of wait staff, table load and floor section planning.

  • Ensure server side worksheets for opening and closing duties are posted, updated, completed and signed off on each shift.

    Required Qualification:

  • Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 35 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.

  • Minimum of 2 years serving or supervisory experience in fine dining.

  • For purpose of effective communication with residents, families, and staff you must be able to see, hear, speak, read, and write English.

  • Must be trained in the Heimlich maneuver or willing to be trained.

  • Previous serving experience is preferred.

    Hourly Rate:

    $15.00- Negotiable

    Background Checks:

    A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position. We are a drug free workplace.
