ZIEGLER INC Compensation Analyst in ALTOONA, Iowa
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Compensation Analyst to provide analytical and administrative support for compensation processes, including analysis, reporting and base pay programs which include contract and non-contractual wage scales. Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in our office in Bloomington, 2 days remote each week.
Responsibilities:
Partner with other members of the HR team as a subject matter expert to resolve issues and provide solutions to include conducting analysis and modeling business specific compensation designs or data
Assist in the development, updating and modeling of annual incentive compensation plans
Compile, analyze and distribute periodic transactional and summary compensation data
Initiates monthly and periodic compensation and position change business processes (e.g., changes to base pay)
Performs compensation evaluation and analysis (e.g., job analysis, evaluation, classification, and benchmark job review) using market pricing tool
Participate in salary surveys and update and maintain market pricing tool
Respond to inquiries regarding compensation related matters
Perform other compensation and human resources related duties as assigned
Acts as Workday expert with regard to security and compensation business process configurations
Assists with the standardization and documentation of compensation processes
Qualifications:
4 year degree or equivalent work experience strongly preferred; high school diploma or GED required
1 - 3 years of work experience in the compensation discipline, or related experience in HR or Finance experience required
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products to be used to develop analysis, charts or other supporting documentation
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Strong detail orientation
Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with HR Information System (HRIS) required - Workday experience preferred
Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
