Structural Steel/Miscellaneous Metal Estimator

Overview: We are seeking a skilled estimator to join our team, specializing in structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects. Client values quality, safety, and innovative design, and we aim to expand our team with a talented professional who has a keen eye for detail and a proven track record in delivering accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contract documents thoroughly.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

• Collaborate with project managers, detailers, and subcontractors to ensure precision in estimates and bid proposals.

• Maintain up-to-date pricing databases for materials and labor.

• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and requirements.

• Assist in creating proposals and presentations for clients.

Qualifications:

• Background in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 2 years of estimating experience specifically in structural steel and miscellaneous metals.

• Familiarity with Bluebeam software is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
