The Engineering Data & Process Supervisor is responsible for the successful management and continuous improvement of both the Industrial Coating Systems (ICS) technical writing and engineering data management teams. The Supervisor will lead and guide their team to prioritize, to coordinate and to communicate activities and deliverables within a global cross-functional organization. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Team Supervision / Leadership * Lead and supervise the prioritization, activities and deliverables within the ICS technical writing and data management teams and processes. * Manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) process including continuous improvement, development and training. * Lead and supervise the Technical Writing team, workload, and processes. * Collaborate and align with Divisional leadership to establish priorities, to address escalations, and to provide status on activities through completion. * Promotes and drives a positive working environment. Responds actively on performance concerns, employee feedback and other employee matters with respect to Nordson Values and Attributes. Technical Writing * Leads and supports a technical writing team in the creation and revision of installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting instructions. These activities include technical illustrations, diagrams, and images to help explain the processes. * Leads and supports the maintenance of technical documents and files. These activities include the posting of new and revised documents on the Nordson website. * Collaborates and prioritizes with cross-functional team managers on project assignments and capacity. * Effectively manages, coordinates, and communicates work and schedules accordingly. Data Management * Leads and supports a data management team in the review, verification, distribution, and execution of engineering changes and new product releases in SAP (within the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process). * Leads and supports the resolution of requests centered on material master data from Customer Service through Operations both domestic and international Nordson locations within the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. * Lead re-occurring cross-functional meetings centered on prioritization, escalation, and completion to meet divisional goals. * Supports the development of tools to improve the efficiency of the master data entry & change management process. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience is required. MBA is a plus. * 2-5 years of leading teams or projects is required. * 2-5 years of experience managing SAP master data is required.
