Description We are recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Anaheim, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the payment cycle activities, processing bills, and resolving any discrepancies. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a contract to permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and review bills using AP Automation tools

• Ensure that customer discounts are applied and credit is received for outstanding memos

• Prepare checks, online payments, and credit card payments on a scheduled basis

• Manage and maintain vendor forms, resale certificates, and W-9s

• Reconcile vendor statements and review AP aging to ensure payments are up-to-date

• Resolve any discrepancies in bills or payments

• Professionally handle vendor correspondence and respond to payment inquiries

• Process invoices for drop-ship orders

• Assist Accounts Receivable by providing clarity on Freight In costs

• Collaborate with the Receiving Department to follow up on purchase orders

• Reconcile credit card statements and participate in the AP closing process each month

• Undertake other duties as required based on business needs. Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Coding is required

• Should have experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required

• Must be competent in performing various Accounting Functions

• Should have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Auditing skills are necessary

• Understanding of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is a must

• Acumatica software proficiency is required

• Must have experience with NetSuite

• Capability to manage Check Runs is essential

• Experience with Full Cycle processes is necessary

• Must have knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting
