Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Anaheim Hills, California. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various accounting functions, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and supporting the overall operations of the accounting department. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately classify and record general ledger transactions in a timely manner.

• Assist with diverse accounting functions including accounts payable, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounts.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to guarantee accurate reporting of account balances.

• Provide support in resolving issues related to network exceptions and interdepartmental requests.

• Ensure compliance of accounting records with internal policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Prepare and upload daily cash order files as needed.

• Work on a hybrid schedule based on operational needs.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the management. Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger accounting principles

• Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries accurately

• Experience in managing Month End Close procedures

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Committed to continuous learning and detail oriented development.
