Job Summary

As part of the sales and marketing department, this role is integral to meeting Everts Airs revenue targets by managing relationships with new and existing customers. This will be accomplished by becoming a trusted subject matter expert at coordinating the best shipping options for customers.

Essential Functions

  1. Collaborate and build relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, issuing quotes, preparing bids, utilizing sales lead resources to turn leads into opportunities, and educating customers.
  2. Provide support and relevant solutions to meet customer needs, conducting regular account analysis, and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
  3. Work closely with Everts Air Customer Service, Load Control, and Cargo departments to help ensure new and existing customers benefit from a seamless sale to service experience, especially with charter services.
  4. Observe and report on the competitive marketplace and prospective customers.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to maintain comprehensive knowledge of Everts Air product offerings, processes, and changes to service.
  6. Provide administrative support to the sales team, including documenting and tracking all significant customer interaction and competitive information through the company CRM.
  7. Participate in conferences, exhibits, and trade shows to promote Everts Air services and business opportunities.
  8. Support and participate in an organizational culture in which a passion for continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

  1. 2+ years of experience in cargo operations or a related field preferred.
  2. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality. This requires a combination of focus, organization and superior time management skills.
  3. Flexibility and adaptability are essential skills needed to remain professional to ensure any changes are dealt with swiftly.
  4. Must have a working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Outlook, Office products, and be comfortable learning the companys reservation and CRM systems. Experience with Teams and Hubspot preferred.
  5. Must have strong listening skills with the ability to interpret and analyze customers needs.
  6. Must possess a valid driver's license.
