Job Summary

• Team Leader in the Waste Mgt. department who assists the Manager in monitoring the flow of all waste streams, in addition to performing all aspects of the processing and disposal of waste.

  Responsibilities

  • Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I and Tech II - Waste Operators.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of different waste types and means of disposal of all.

  • Utilize WasteWatcher System.

  • Help with inventory and control of supplies.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas of operation.

  • Transport waste from units, categorize effectively, process or prepare for shipment and complete necessary paperwork/logging of waste into WasteWatcher.

    Requirements

  HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to read, write, math skills and comprehend basic instruction. 1-2 Years’ Experience in Environmental Services or Related Field Required.
