Job Description:

TTI Power Equipment has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for an experienced 2nd shift experienced Class-A CDL Yard Driver. To be considered, candidates must have at least 2 years of professional driving experience. Candidates must also have a clean MVR and be able to pass a background and drug screen. Job Description

• Must be able to operate manual and automatic transmission-equipped vehicles.

• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.

• Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products.

• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.

• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.

• Must be able to climb in and out of the cab of the truck throughout the shift.

• The ability to quickly respond (with the hand, finger, or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.

• Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers. Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure

Requirements

• High School Diploma Preferred

• Must have valid Class A CDL.

• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical
