Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the energy industry located in Andrews, Texas. The workplace setting is an office-based environment with working hours from Monday to Friday. The chosen candidate will play a key role in managing the company's accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Conduct regular check runs to ensure all payments are made as scheduled

• Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain the accuracy of financial data

• Input journal entries as part of the company's financial record-keeping

• Manage batch processing and coding invoices to ensure proper categorization of expenses

• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and other accounts payable related tasks

• Assist with special projects as needed to support the overall financial management of the company

• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Manager and other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) role.

• Proficiency in Data Entry.

• Demonstrable experience in Batch Processing.

• Expertise in Coding Invoices.

• Experience with Journal Entries.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Demonstrable skills in Expense Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
