Description

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a great plant in northern Indiana. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial processes and strategies within our company, which operates in a dynamic industry. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be tasked with tasks ranging from supporting the month-end close process to participating in finance process improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and review data for the month-end close process

• Develop and prepare financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

• Ensure all financial reports align with GAAP and company policies

• Offer support in various business planning processes including strategic plan, annual operating plan, and periodic forecasts

• Participate in and support cost reduction projects through analysis, tracking, and monitoring

• Generate and deliver a variety of analyses such as sales and profitability

• Provide audit documentation and analyses when requested

• Confirm the effectiveness of internal audit processes and controls

• Lead finance process improvement projects and other special projects

• Develop and deliver reports and analyses as required.

Requirements

• Applicant must hold a minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role, preferably as a Sr. Financial Analyst.

• Proficiency in business systems is a must.

• Advanced Excel, Tableau, Crystal Reports desired

• Applicant should possess advanced knowledge of data mining techniques.

• Demonstrable experience in accounting functions is vital.

• Familiarity with budget processes is essential.

• Capital management skills are a key requirement for the role.

• Applicant should have experience in forecasting.

Bachelors in accounting or finance a must, MBA or CPA desired
