Job Title: Process Technician

Job Description

Maximize uptime on all machine centers with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime. Set molds, start up, and troubleshoot the injection molding process. Document all process parameters on documents to the Master Setup Sheets. Ensure all process parameters and mold protection settings meet process specifications. Make necessary adjustments to prevent part defects. Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes. Maintain and improve manufacturing efficiencies. Drive reduction of scrap through the elimination of mold conditions using corrective action and mold maintenance forms. Maintain a neat and clean environment at all times. Identify maintenance concerns/issues and assist with resolution. Participate in mold change activities to reduce downtime and increase uptime and throughput. Safety first mindset. Ensure all safety features, such as drop bars and switches, are functioning.

Work Environment

Shift - 2nd or 3rd shift will be open 1st- 6am-2pm Mon-Friday 2nd - 2pm-10pm Monday -Friday 3rd - 10pm-6am Monday-Friday Culture - the plant has changed management recently and the plant manager has really tried to turn things around! They are starting to do "Lean" manufacturing, so increase efficiency by cleaning/organizing and having a better workplace! It is warm in there, so candidates have to be comfortable with unregulated facility, but some areas for maintenance are cooled! This is one thing they are working on a lot right now is the air flow through the plant! Dress: pants/steel toed boots Will be one other person on the shift with them Do have to take call on the weekends every once in awhile, but this isn't all of the time. They are all pretty good about taking turns with that.
