Responsibilities*
As a licensed athletic trainer, deliver direct patient care within a team approach (in conjunction with physician, physical therapist and associated personnel) in an outpatient sports medicine setting.
NOTE: This is a Clinic-Outreach Athletic Trainer position. Duties will be split between Clinic and Outreach as needed.
Required Qualifications*
A Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related health field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Must obtain license by the State of Michigan within two months of hire.
Must have current CPR and first aid certification.
Modes of Work

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
