Group/DivisionThe KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.  The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications As a Product Engineer in the Predictive Analytics group you will be actively engaged in the new product introduction process for BroadBand Plasma products. In this role, you will be working side-by-side with the engineering and service teams during all stages of product development to create and support data driven service methods and strategies.

In this role you will typically perform most of these functions:

Work with the development team on design challenges pertinent to service with strong focus on enabling the next generation of data analytics systems.

Influence designers and designs to include features that will optimize KLA predictive capabilities

Ensure that learning on current generation tools is captured and applied to next generation designs.

Efficiently analyze data from multiple tools and other sources and present conclusions and recommended actions.

Support internal development and testing of new software features

Work with service teams on field rollout of new features

Desired Qualifications:

Strong statistics and data analysis skills are a must have

Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a wide audience

Excellent technical problem solving skills

Able to work both independently and in collabora
