This position is eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $2500 (current state employees are not eligible)

This role will primarily be offering individual counseling, psychoeducation/therapeutic groups, clinical consultation and/or clinical supervision, and support to the Treatment Team on complex cases. This position may provide clinical supervision to staff under the delegated authority of the site director, and supports integrated treatment and a collaborative model of team functioning.

Other assigned duties may include program development, clinical supervision of client programming, involvement in special work groups as assigned. This position provides clinical and programmatic consultation and direction to professional staff regarding overall care at CBHH. The professional occupying this position has a broad range of clinical experience, advanced training in behavioral health treatment and diagnostic assessment, and experience in crisis intervention.

CBHH facilities are acute inpatient adult psychiatric treatment facilities of no more than 16 individuals designed to provide rapid assessment and stabilization of patients in need of acute psychiatric hospitalization. The length of stay is usually less than 30 days, during which treatment focuses on stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning involving community support resources, with the overall goal of preventing future episodes. Service delivery is provided collaboratively through an integrated treatment model. While this individual has some unique responsibilities based on licensure, they may also provide back-up for coworkers, as long as they do not exceed the scope of their license.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or closely related field; AND

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional, i.e. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dually licensed as a Mental Health Professional and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

  • Experience working in an inpatient mental health facility
