ManTech Project Coordinator in Annapolis Junction, Maryland

It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPO’s backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities :

  • Project Coordinator to help support the Program Managers with support on our prime program

  • Will work directly in the Program Management Office, providing any support to the project; i.e. customer interaction, schedule support, budgeting support, timekeeping support, taking meeting notes, etc

  • Will interact with all levels within the PMO office to include contracts, finance, subcontracts

  • Help update/maintain the project/program schedule and deliverables.

  • Assists in CDRL development, coordinating completion, review and delivery

  • May assist the PM with the project budgets and timekeeping

  • Manage staffing process

  • Assist with office automation, processes, and efficiencies

  • Proactively identify actions and provide accurate, professional responses to the PMO

  • Track down information and prepare reports and/or briefs to send to the customer

  • Exemplary customer service skills

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience in managing projects and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

  • Experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring and reporting desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of JIRA Workflows

  • Understanding of ITAR Regulations

  • Strong understanding of Excel and Word

  • Knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must have a current active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate in this position must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations. Candidate is expected to travel to customer meetings in Columbia and Laurel MD from time to time.
