We are seeking a Sr. Linux System Administrator / Tech Lead.

Position requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph level clearance.

Required Skills:

• Contractor will be supporting an enterprise-wide mission environment.
• Provides architecture and business consulting services.
• Functions as lead consultant and project manager on technically complex projects.
• Linux - (CentOS/RHEL) - Linux admin certification desired
• Extensive experience installing, configuring, maintaining JBoss / Wildfly.
• VMWare VM creation, configuration, and operation experience.
• Security+ II / IAT 2 certification

Highly Desired Skills:

• Experience with RH Ansible
• Other Desired experience:
• Storage, Networking
• Security Compliance
• Authentication
• Scripting: Shell, Python preferred
• Physical Server Administration
• Oracle Database and possibly some DBA experience
• JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
• Centrify Works

Location:National Business Park, Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Duty Hours: Monday - Friday 0500 - 1700 (Flexible)

Note: Project requires scheduled OCBs on Saturday evenings on an as needed basis.

Some after-hours call-in support may be needed, but no weekly rotations call-in.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Linux System Admin / Eng and ability and desire to lead a small team of SAs.
• At least ten (10) years developing and delivering IT Architectures or IT systems design/ engineering services or supported that activity with an organization.
• A BS in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
