Insight Global Clearable Mid-Level Network Engineer in Annapolis, Maryland

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Clearable Mid-Level Network Engineer with expertise in Routing, Switching, and Wireless technologies to join our team. This role will involve extensive travel (50-60%) throughout the Great Plains region, providing hands-on technical support for network installation, programming, and deployment. When they are not traveling, they will be working remotely. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies, as well as Aruba Networks, and possess relevant certifications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, customers, and on-site teams to ensure the successful installation and deployment of network systems. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from interpreting floor plans and determining optimal AP placements to post-installation customer support and discussions

$45/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience

  • experience with Aruba systems

  • ability to install, configure, and deploy

  • ability to read and understand floor plans and work closely with the project managers and clients

  • comfortable with 50-60% travel to the Great Plains region null
