Description
We are offering a contract for a Property Manager role in Public Housing. This role involves managing and coordinating various aspects of property operations according to established guidelines. The role includes a range of tasks from staff leadership, budgeting, administration, property maintenance to customer service, ensuring a well-maintained property and stable financial operations.
Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are in good physical condition and fiscally stable.
• Lead and guide all staff members at the property, fostering a team-oriented work environment.
• Prepare, manage, and control budgets for properties to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Handle general administrative tasks related to property management, promoting effective and streamlined processes.
• Maintain both exterior and interior property conditions, scheduling necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Manage the leasing process, including unit leasing and rent collections, to maintain high occupancy rates.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and administrative reporting concerning the property, staff, and residents.
• Foster positive resident relations, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all procedures and units are compliant with applicable regulations, maintaining a record of compliance.
• Fill vacant units within acceptable timeframes, adhering to leasing agreements and rent payment schedules.
Requirements
• Must possess at least 3 years of relevant experience as a Property Manager in Public Housing
• Proficiency in the use of Management System software is required.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience of Budget Processes are necessary.
• Experience in managing Multifamily Properties is a must.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple properties efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with tenants and property owners.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve property-related issues and conflicts.
• Proven track record of maintaining high occupancy rates and securing renewals.
• Knowledge of property laws and regulations is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of the property.
