About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain halfway between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL just off Interstate 20. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical security surveys, inspections, analysis and evaluations Prepare comprehensive written reports on survey and inspection findings and recommendations. Conduct physical security inspections and evaluates security engineering of construction proposals. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting physical security and crime prevention surveys, inspections, and risk analysis of Mission Essential and Vulnerable Areas (MEVAs), High Risk Targets (HRT) and command-designated facilities, providing support to an installation security program. 1. Development and implementation and operation of an Integrated Force Protection Program. 2. Interpret and/or develop general policy for application at the installation or District level for a multiplicity of threats (i.e., terrorism, military, electronic, intelligence, and criminal, etc.). 3. Develop and implement crisis management planning and execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
