Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Anoka, Minnesota, 55303, United States. In this role, you'll be providing support to our accounting department, focusing primarily on accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, and you'll be working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Conduct effective billing and collections processes to maintain financial health

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline accounting functions

• Carry out auditing tasks to ensure financial transparency and compliance

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of our financial records

• Handle approximately 50 invoices weekly, maintaining precision and efficiency

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth transition and ongoing support

• Leverage tools such as ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, and Concur in daily tasks

• Support the team in processing around 80 projects weekly, often with recurring customers. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• Experience with CaseWare software is highly desirable

• Knowledge and experience with Concur is essential

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Proficiency in Auditing is a must

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is highly desirable
