Mechanical Assembler

Pay:

20-22/hr

Description:

A production company in Ramsey, MN is currently hiring for shift Mechanical Assemblers. This company builds/manufactures workout/gym equipment including ellipticals, weight racks, tension weight machines (like a BowFlex) and many others. Employees are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks required to assemble, prep sub-assemblies, and move completed units. There are 32 different machines they are responsible for assembling.

JOB DUTIES:

• Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures.

• Move machines as required.

• Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork.

• Use a manual and electric pallet jack.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.

• The ability to bend/twist or turn repeatedly throughout the shift.

• 6 months of previous working experience is required.

• Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience.

• Able to work with power tools or hand tools, mechanically inclined.

• Good work history, even if it is not in manufacturing.

• Ability to operate small air, hand and electric tools.

• Ability to read work instructions and drawings.

• Ability to effectively communicate.

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

• Good memorization skills.

Worksite Location:

Anoka, Minnesota

HOURS:

• 1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm (4) - $20/HR

• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 2am (11) - $22/Hr

• OT will run on Fridays and it is mandatory when it is posted - candidates must be okay with this!
