Aerotek Oven Operator in Anoka, Minnesota

Job Title: Oven Operator

Job Description

Join our team as an Oven Operator where you will be tasked with operating an oven and performing mold building. In this role, you will heat pipes to form them into specific measurements, such as 45 and 90 degree angles. After heating, the pipes are secured into metal molds and then submerged in a dunk tank to set the new shape. You will also handle prep work for the oven, ensuring that operations run smoothly while items are being heated or cooled. Additional responsibilities include assisting with lifting duties, using equipment such as overhead cranes for lifts exceeding 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment is mostly clean, though it can be dirtier than typical machine shops, and tends to get hot during the summer. The role requires mostly standing and wearing heat resistant gloves up to the elbow. Shifts available: 1st shift (M-F: 6:30am-3:00pm), 2nd shift (M-Th: 3:30pm-2:00am).
