CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTES (NON-TEACHING) Thank you for your interest in daily subbing for Anoka-Hennepin Schools. Your application will be reviewed after you finish and submit to the substitute posting. You will be contacted via email within a few days to select an upcoming paid substitute information/orientation session you'd like to attend. Day to day subbing (on-call) for the following categories: Substitute Secretary Substitute Special Ed Para Substitute Health Para (Nurses may work as Sub Health Paras) Substitute Elementary and Secondary Para Substitute ESL Para Substitute ECFE/Preschool Assistants Substitute Preschool Instructor Substitute School Monitor Minimum Qualifications: Must physically work in-person at the school/site. Substitute Secretary - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute Special Ed Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Substitute Health Para - Requires LPN License. Must have completed or be currently enrolled in the Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED (Automatic External Defibrillators) course, First Aid course. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Substitute Elementary Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute Secondary Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute ESL Para - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute ECFE/Preschool Assistant - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Substitute Preschool Instructor - Requires BA degree in Early Childhood or closely related field. Teaching license in Early Childhood, Kindergarten or Elementary Ed preferred. Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Substitute School Monitor - Requires High School Diploma or equivalent. Rate of Pay: Substitute Secretary $15.00 / hour Substitute Special Ed Para $17.50 / hour Substitute Health Para $23.50 / hour Substitute Elementary and Secondary Para $16.50 / hour Substitute ESL Para $16.50 / hour Substitute ECFE/Preschool Assistant $16.25 / hour Substitute Preschool Instructor $21.75 / hour Substitute School Monitor $16.50 / hour EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: It is the school district s policy to provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees.
