BroadPath Healthcare Solutions Healthcare Provider Service Representative in Anytown, United States

Overview

*Required On-site training in Campbell, CA (Beautiful Bay Area!) for a week.

Broadpath is hiring a Healthcare Provider Service Representative to work from home after a mandatory paid on-site training in Campbell, CA. Our Representatives will primarily answer member and provider telephone inquiries. You will handle various customer service tasks, ensuring that all issues and concerns are resolved efficiently by answering inquiries related to claims and benefits. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of healthcare systems, including familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT codes, and be adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer member and provider telephone calls, adhering to performance standards and departmental procedures

  • Research and address caller questions, providing solutions to member and provider concerns

  • Collaborate with Claims, Medical Management, and Network Management departments to resolve member and provider issues

  • Document and track all contacts in the system to ensure issues are recorded and resolved

  • Conduct member and provider satisfaction surveys, as needed

Qualifications

  • Travel Requirement – minimum 7 days required travel.

  • Minimum two years in the healthcare, familiar with ICD‐9 codes and CPT codes required

  • At least 1 year of claims processing experience or a strong knowledge of provider billing procedures

  • Proficient understanding of health plan benefit programs and ability to explain these programs to members

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, especially in managing telephone-based customer interactions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with websites, browsers, and chat software

  • Experience with navigating multiple tasks and systems simultaneously

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Travel Requirement:

Must be available for a minimum of 7 days of travel.

On-Site Training: This role requires on-site training in Campbell, CA.
