Are you a skilled welder with experience in MIG and TIG welding techniques? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing materials, performing precision welds, and ensuring the highest quality standards in our projects. Responsibilities

MIG and TIG Welder Responsibilities

• Preparing Materials: Read and interpret blueprints and specifications, clean and prepare surfaces, select appropriate materials, filler metals, electrodes, and equipment.

• Welding Operations: Perform MIG and TIG welding, set up and operate welding machines, adjust machine settings, monitor and control the welding process, ensure proper weld pool management, and perform welds on various materials including thin and non-ferrous metals.

• Quality Control: Inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws, maintain and repair equipment, ensure welds meet high-quality standards, conduct tests to ensure integrity and durability.

• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols, wear protective gear, maintain a clean and safe work area, comply with industry standards and regulations.

• Technical Skills: Utilize various welding techniques and tools, understand and different welding codes and standards.

• Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and team members, document work performed, and communicate any issues or discrepancies.

• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve welding issues, continuously improve welding techniques and efficiency.

• Skills and Attributes: Demonstrate attention to detail, physical stamina, dexterity, and problem-solving skills.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time
