[RESPONSIBILITIES: [The LIHEAP Specialist is responsible for assisting and performing duties in the day-to-day operations of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for the Community Services unit. Supporting and assisting with, but not limited to the following: data processing, data entry, registering and processing applications, filing, sorting and distributing mail, and communicating with customers by phone, text and email.

[REQUIREMENTS: [High school diploma or equivalent. [Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and possess the ability to use a variety of software applications including unit specific software. Ability to use basic office equipment (i.e., phone systems, copying machines, scanner/printers, and computers).

[Ability to handle sensitive agency and participant information in a confidential manner.
