Actalent Mechanical Engineer Co Op in Appleton, Wisconsin

Description

Engineering Co-op (Piping/Mechanical)

Provide support in drafting and design services for project engineering personnel related to plant design, mechanical layouts, and piping systems. Assist in conducting engineering studies and analysis, and support installation and start-up of assigned projects.

Skills & Qualifications

-Basic understanding of plant design, mechanical equipment, and piping systems and standards.

-Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

-Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to make effective presentations to technical groups.

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

-Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
