Entry Level Quality Engineer
Supervise, coordinate, facilitate, and provide leadership to employees directly or through group leaders. Outline work procedures and assign duties to meet departmental and company requirements.

Job Summary
Provide customer interface on quality issues and problem resolution
Support customer visits and customer audits on-site
Ensure all contractual and regulatory quality requirements are defined, communicated, and flowed down appropriately
Collaborate with other functional areas to establish quality procedures for meeting customer requirements
Create, review, and document requirement changes for compliance
Interface with suppliers to correct problems dealing with purchased materials
Provide problem-solving support to manufacturing (including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions) to ensure continual improvement.
Support the improvement of the Quality Management System to ensure conformance to standards and overall effectiveness
Track and monitor site performance objectives and metrics in order to assess and lead improvements
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance to company standards
Perform other assignments as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standards.
Proficient in technical writing, good documentation skills; attention to detail is critical
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings is required
Demonstrated analytical expertise and data-mining skills to effectively resolve problems
Intermediate level of computer skills in email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to communicate with customers and project company image to attract business
Ability to multi-task efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environment
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Understanding and application of Lean 6-Sigma methodology
Understanding and application of Process Flowcharts, Control Plans, and FMEAs
Understanding and application of Statistical Process Control
Use of Measurement and Test Equipment, including Gage R&R assessment
Understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning
Experience in AS-9100, ISO-9001, and/or ISO-13485 Quality Management Systems
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Required Experience/Education/Training/Certification
