Job Title:Production Control Specialist – Shop Floor Operations

Location:Archbald, PA

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr

Our client:

Our client is a leading aerospace and defense contractor. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Archbald, PAand is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last approximately 1 year. With the opportunity to convert permanently. This role is on-site, so you should be comfortable commuting to Archbald. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Release and prioritize work orders, ensuring smooth workflow through the shop floor and minimizing delays.

• Expedite work orders by coordinating with multiple teams, supporting timely production and meeting schedule demands.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time starts, aging or idle work orders, and overall shop floor efficiency.

• Manage production records, including inventory levels, production schedules, and control data.

• Maintain records of units shipped and current jobs in production, providing regular status updates.

• Prepare shop orders detailing specifications such as style, size, quantity, and priority.

• Review stock records and consumption data to determine stock status relative to program needs.

• Perform data entry tasks, utilizing SAP software and Microsoft Excel to update production information.

• Conduct other clerical tasks as needed to support production control processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelor's degree required.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with SAP software.

• Key Attributes:Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
