Global Capital Equipment Senior Project Manager About the Role: At Boston Scientific, the Global Capital Equipment Senior Project Manager is responsible for the VIP/DVIP process across Global Capital Equipment including oversight and improvement of the Capital Equipment portion of VIP/DVIP process. The ideal candidate will be capable of collaborating with divisions, manufacturing sites, Sourcing/Supplier, Packaging, Field Service and R&D teams to identify and implement design improvements across capital equipment.A successful candidate will be able to understand and present the financial impacts of projects, investigate, and create clarity around ambiguous opportunities and help others identify more opportunities in their own spaces. Your Responsibilities Include: Identify initiatives: Work collaboratively within a broad network to identify opportunities and promote the appropriate projects for prioritization and resourcing Work autonomously, without a team of peers doing similar work Improve and steward the End-to-End DVIP process for CE Share Best Practices: Identify and promote opportunities to benchmark from one product design to another Function within the VIP/DVIP process to: Identify Opportunity: Identify sources of Capital Equipment DVIP and sustainability improvements Develop Recommendations: Create business cases for DVIP Projects Present and Promote: Partner with various functions to present DVIP projects to Divisions and Senior leadership for selection and prioritization Monitor and Support: Work to support functional project teams and communicate progress to ensure resourcing and expected impact are maintained What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or work equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience and solid knowledge of leading transformational projects, a diverse project portfolio that involves technology and solutions. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across different organizational levels. Strategic planning and business analysis skills to identify strategic opportunities and develop actionable plans to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Minimal (<10%) travel required. Preferred Qualifications: BS preferred Experience in medical device companies, particularly in Capital Equipment Business Ability to influence internal and external decision makers. Interacting with key stakeholders on critical and complex projects Demonstrated capability in collaborating and partnering within a complex and matrix global environment.
