Boston Scientific IT Manager I, Digital Platforms in Arden Hills, Minnesota

About the Role: As IT Manager I, Digital Platforms, you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of digital platform products. This pivotal role entails owning the strategy, roadmap, and deliverables for both the Enterprise IoT Platform and the Digital Health Platform teams. You will play a crucial part in driving innovation and ensuring the effective deployment of cutting-edge technology solutions across our organization. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with business objectives and spearhead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and elevate our digital capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Acquire a core understanding of the Enterprise IoT Platform and Digital Health Platform, including technologies, capabilities, and key stakeholders. Formulate and execute digital platform strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Supervise the planning, execution, and delivery of digital platform initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of platform developers and product owners. Foster innovation and drive continuous improvement in digital platform processes and capabilities. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain platform competitiveness. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all divisions to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and foster alignment. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful service and solution delivery. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors and partners. Establish and manage budgets, schedules, and performance standards, ensuring team accountability to objectives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field. 10+ years of experience in IT product/project management. 3+ years of experience managing digital platform teams. Proven experience in leading and managing global teams and engineers. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in project management, communication, and collaboration tools such as Office365, Teams, JIRA, PowerPoint, Slack, Trello, Miro. Preferred Qualifications & Competencies: Experience in medical device IT platform management. Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team. Strategic Vision: Capable of defining and executing a comprehensive digital strategy. Project Management: Skilled in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, global teams. Innovation: A drive to continuously improve and innovate the platforms.
