About the role: Boston Scientific is looking for a highly motivated Process Engineer II to support product and process development, contributing to the design and advancement of new technologies within the company. Utilize your technical knowledge and collaboration skills, combined with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, to drive growth through the efficient and effective commercialization of new products and targeted enhancements. The ideal candidate should enjoy tackling technical challenges in a hands-on manner, thrive in a fast-paced global environment, and collaborate across various functions. This role involves working cross-functionally to develop capable processes and complex technologies for new products, ensuring a smooth transition to production. Your responsibilities will include: Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple and moderately complex processes. Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation. Execute functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems. Prepare and present technical data and recommendations at technical reviews. Write validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes. Ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM's, Routers, FMEA's, etc.) Oversee development builds associated with the project using special work requests. Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package. Contribute ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions. Train and/or provide work direction to technicians and may train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation. Required qualifications: BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with mechanical background 2+ years industry related experience Medical device or other regulated industry experience Preferred qualifications: Excels in a collaborative, cross-site environment. Experience in New Product Development Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technical environment. Demonstrated understanding and usage of statistics to drive improvements. Strong mechanical aptitude.Fixture, design, and/or trouble shooting experience.
