Job Title: Packer

Job Description

As a Packer, you will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory control, mailing, processing return items, cleaning equipment, warehouse housekeeping, and transferring supplies. You must be able to take ownership of tasks and complete them independently while maintaining HIPAA/patient confidentiality. Compliance with laws, regulations, and policies is essential and a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and manage inventory control

• Process return items and mail packages

• Clean equipment and maintain warehouse housekeeping

• Transfer supplies within the warehouse

• Stand for long periods and be mechanically inclined

• Operate computers and switch between different jobs daily

• Lift and pack products weighing 5-10 lbs into boxes repetitively throughout the shift

• Lift at least 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and lifting

• Package approximately 300 packages per shift

• Use RF scanner, pallet jack, and forklift

• Pick and pack orders, load and unload materials, label products, and handle materials

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing, production, and warehouse operations

• Ability to stand for entire shifts and lift at least 50 pounds

• Mechanically inclined and computer literate

• Proficiency in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts

• Ability to switch work areas daily based on order requirements

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in pick, pack, and load operations

• Knowledge of order picking, stacking, unloading, and material handling

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arden, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.35 - $18.35
