EJ has an immediate opening for a 2025 Summer Operations Management Trainee Intern.

SUMMARY
The Operations Management Trainee Intern will be a valued member of our team and provide support by participating in projects and activities organized by the Manufacturing Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Production planning and execution throughout the foundry process. (based on experience.)
Learn integral core foundry functions: pattern, melt, mold, finishing, quality, and maintenance. Gain hands-on knowledge of lean manufacturing initiatives, Six Sigma, 5-S, and continuous improvement methodology.
Collaborate with supervision to contribute to employee safety, communications, and foundry management.
Attend safety and management meetings; supervisor and employee touchpoints; assist and engage in employee communications.
Complete projects and activities assigned to be able to direct, lead, and grow in operations management. Examples include but are not limited to conducting start up and/or safety meetings, time and attendance, and production reporting.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelors degree in a related field from a four-year college or university.
