EJ Quality Technician, 3rd Shift in Ardmore, Oklahoma
EJ has an immediate opening for a 3rd shift Quality Technician starting at $20.00 per hour with an additional $1.50 shift premium.

SUMMARY
Performs functions and duties related to quality control and assurance of product. This can include, and is not limited to, quality of the sand system, iron chemistries, casting quality, finished goods inspection, special assembly inspections and layout of parts and patterns. The QCID Technician will be responsible for all QCID duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspects castings for defects and reports all defective castings.
Performs maintenance and housekeeping of defective casting area and returned material area.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to drive a fork-lift as the job involves large amounts of forklift driving and using hoists to lift castings for a majority of the workday.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. A mathematical placement test will be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
