Sysco Director, Local Sales in ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and coach a team of local retail sales, inside sales support field facing Market Business Managers and Event Coordinator to deliver against deadlines against deadlines and produce high-quality results within the region and deliver the agreed upon financial plan.
Directly engage and collaborate with operating company Presidents, VP of Sales and other market functional leaders to drive sales.
Directly influence and engage critical/developing customer accounts and ensure proper management of all other accounts.
Support and promote all national events, campaigns and promotional opportunities
Develop and deliver sales budget
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Required:
Four-year college degree in business management or related field of study
Experience Required:
8+ years’ experience in a sales management role and 5+ years leading a B2B sales team
Technical Skills and Abilities
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong business acumen and proven track record for driving business results through strong leadership, communication, effective internal and external relationships
Strong financial and analytical skills to identify and quantify new opportunities and gaps
Demonstrated skills in the area of consultative selling, networking and negotiations
Strong restaurant and retail acumen to manage sophisticated customers
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and influence a variety of key stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite

Physical Demands
