Description We are looking for a Network Administrator, based in ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Illinois, United States, who will be instrumental in managing and updating our technical environment. The role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Communicating effectively over the phone to guide multiple locations through technical environment updates.

• Utilizing templates and playbooks to ensure all necessary updates are implemented.

• Conducting "speed tests" to assess if service provider installation of an antenna is necessary.

• Installing and managing Cisco Meraki in our network infrastructure.

• Leading migration processes, particularly from Ruckus to Cloud.

• Evaluating new internet carriers for network remediation.

• Assisting with the implementation of new Cellular backup at facilities.

• Coordinating the installation of new Cisco Merakis.

• Integrating with Azure AD authentication for cloud solution migration.

• Utilizing skills in Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Microsoft, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Meraki, Azure AD Connect, and Cloud migration. Requirements

• Must have a thorough understanding of Network Administration

• Proficiency in working with Cisco routers and other Cisco technologies

• Familiarity with Microsoft systems and software

• Experience with Active Directory management and operations is necessary

• Must have a solid grasp of Backup Technologies and their application

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware and its troubleshooting

• Experience with Meraki systems is desirable

• Proficiency in using Azure AD Connect

• Experience with Cloud migration processes and technologies is necessary

• Ability to troubleshoot network issues and maintain network infrastructure

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Preferably having a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
