JOB TITLE: Attractions Attendant

Department: Revenue

Wage Category: Seasonal

JOB PURPOSE: To be part of a team that oversees the daily operation of 1-2 Attractions locations per shift, taking into consideration: cash handling, attraction presentation, while understanding that Safety is always the primary concern for any Attractions Team Member.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Comply with all Six Flags policies & procedures, including grooming codes

· Operate attractions in a safe, efficient, and responsible manner while complying with all operational duties set forth by the Standard Operating Procedures for each Attraction and the Operations General Training program.

· Assist all guests while entering, using, and exiting the Attraction

· Maintain an entertaining environment that keeps quality guest service the number one concern.

· Perform any other duties appropriate to the area of responsibility as deemed necessary by the Attractions Supervisory staff &/or Management

· Create a FUN & PROFESSIONAL environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be at least 16years of age

· Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, & weekends.

· Must be able to speak effectively in the English language to individuals and/or large groups of people

· Must be able to read and write the English language.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

Any and all other duties that is assigned or necessary in order to support the Revenue Department and the park as a whole.   • Must be able to sit and/stand/and walk for long periods of time throughout the day

  • Must be able to work outdoors at various times throughout the year

  • Requires occasional kneeling and bending

  • Requires occasional walking, reaching above shoulder, pushing and pulling

  • Requires occasional lifts and carries up to 60 pounds

  • Requires occasional carries up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a two wheel hand truck

  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This position requires occasional work in or around wetness, confined spaces-cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odors, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations. The noise level is generally moderate.
