Description

New Commercial. Construction General Assistant Superintendent. The role involves supervising commercial construction crews, interpreting blueprints, and managing the pace and quality of production. This role also requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a familiarity with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and instruct multiple crews across various job sites

• Read and interpret blueprints to guide work processes

• Set and discuss daily and weekly goals with crews

• Ensure all team members understand the tools they will be using

• Manage the pace and quality of production to meet project deadlines

• Handle stressful situations with professionalism and patience

• Value coaching and mentoring to support team development

• Lead and oversee teams of subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow

• Communicate updates effectively to management

• Write comprehensive job reports to document project progress

• Familiarize oneself with OSHA regulations to ensure safe work practices

• Utilize Procore, OSHA, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) skills to enhance job performance and ensure safety compliance.

• Demonstrate leadership skills in overseeing and managing teams.

Requirements

Looking for at least 3-5 years of epxerience

Must have a valid drivers license

Ok with traveling to different job sites with company vehicle.
