Lockheed Martin Contracts Management Sr / Lvl 3 / Arlington, TX in Arlington, Texas

Description: MFC is seeking a Contracts Management Senior for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support THAAD Program pursuits through contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning. The desired candidate will provide contract administration support by reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating contract requirements, contract change impacts, extending and administering IWTAs and requests for proposals/ROMs.

Duties include:

Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration assistance for the programs and special projects as assigned.

Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.

Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance.

Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.

Evaluate and coordinate proposals; investigate and reconcile significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company.

Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached during negotiations. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.

Occasional travel is required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 6 years of professional experience, or 4 years of professional experience with a Master's degree

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Prior experience in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out

Proven experience negotiating and administering a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and cost type contracts (CPFF, CPIF)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment; Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-start who can work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen

Desired Skills:

Incentive Fee Contracting knowledge of both Cost Type and Fixed Price arrangements

Prior Contracts experience working with MDA (Missile Defense Agency) or THAAD work experience

Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) experience

Familiarity with the IWTA system and related policies and procedures

FMS Contracting Experience

Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts

Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships

Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, performance-based payment plans, etc.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
