Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a Controller to join our team at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. This opportunity has a variety of accounting functions, including performing financial reporting, consolidating financial results, performing Accounts Payable invoice approvals, and overseeing audit requirements. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81900 - $110600 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting function at the unit, including direct leadership, supervision, and effective management of unit accounting and cash room team members

• Complete audits and ensure team are knowledgeable of policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Executes strategies and standards related to accounting policy, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, budgeting, and financial systems and controls

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, support annual plan and projection process, provide insightful review of year-over-year changes, and recommend areas of focus to improve operating margins

• Leads or assists with ad hoc analyses of the finances and prepares reports to facilitate decision making

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business related field required, CPA preferred

• 5+ years experience in supervising complex accounting teams, an understanding of finance and accounting processes, and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft Financials or similar accounting software

• Understanding how to drive effective performance management

• Facilitation, detailed collaboration, and effective communication
