Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance in the manufacturing industry. This role involves overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, auditing, banking, and forecasting. A significant aspect of the role is managing the credit approval process, insurance renewals, and understanding the capital decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of finance professionals • Develop and maintain budgeting, auditing, and forecasting systems • Handle credit approvals and insurance renewals efficiently • Gain familiarity with capital decision-making processes • Understand and manage accounting functions, specifically cost accounting • Utilize various software systems • Direct auditing, budget processes, and capital management activities • Conduct cash flow analysis and provide insights for decision making • Ensure strict adherence to accounting rules and regulations • Collaborate with different teams to ensure financial transparency and accuracy. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry • Proficiency in relevant manufacturing technologies • Solid understanding of Accounting Software Systems • Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions including Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, and Cash Flow Analysis • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities • Advanced problem-solving skills and strategic thinking • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant field • detail oriented certification such as CFA or CPA is an advantage
