Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Postdoc positions are available in the area of Control and Machine Learning. The position is expected to start in or during Spring 2025.

  • The position is responsible for developing AI agent(s) that leverage Reinforcement Learning and modern control technique. Possible themes and approaches include Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning, integration of Large Language Model with closed loop control capabilities, and human-robot collaboration using Game Theory.

  • The role is to lead and implement experimental validation, with all essential hardware (e.g. scaled vehicle, wheeled robot, robot arm, UAV) and facilities (e.g. 3D motion tracker, netted drone facility) provided.

  • The position also involves mentoring graduate and undergraduate students actively involved in the lab.

Required Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Engineering/Science, or a related field.

  • Strong research record evidenced in peer-reviewed publications.

  • Proficiency in English and Python Programming.
