    What will you do?

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for evaluating non-conformance and returned goods data, developing quality analytics, and creating process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use various business reporting tools such as Power BI to evaluate non-conformance and returned goods data to identify trends and develop corrective and preventative actions.

  • Develop quality analytics and write executive level reports.

  • Develop administrative and manufacturing quality process documents, workflows, instructions and training resources across all functions and all sites – written and visual media.

  • Work with process stakeholders to continually create, correct, revise, and improve process methods to improve process outcomes.

  • Assist site leaders and process owners in developing, encouraging, and managing an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with EHS program managers in creating process efficiencies through developing safety and quality initiatives.

  • Work with Industrial, Manufacturing and Product Engineers and Product Managers to develop necessary quality system controls to ensure desired outcomes are attainable and repeatable.

  • Identify and perform regular Six Sigma process analysis projects.

  • Demonstrate or possess ability or aptitude to develop process expertise in CNC machining, welding, heat treating, painting/coating, ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing shop floor control methods.

    Key Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Undergradulate or Gradulate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manfacturing Engineering, or Quality Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing with emphasis on primary metals machining, welding, forming and general fabrication/assembly inspection processes and tools.

  • Experience working in an ISO 9001-15, or similar manufacturing Quality Management System architecture.

  • Proficiency in Power BI and other business intelligence tools.

  • Strong analytical background and experience in quality management.

  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt) preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Leadership and motivational skills.

  • Collaboration and teamwork.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.

  • Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.

  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes.
