Guidehouse Account Director in ARLINGTON, Virginia

What You Will Do :

You will be a leader within our Federal Civilian Practice helping to manage a portfolio of advisory, managed services, and digital projects and lead business development, capture, and growth efforts. You will support the Partner(s) with profit & loss management and be responsible for managing teams both in client delivery and firm activities (e.g., solution development, business development, marketing).

What You Will Need :

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting, at least 5 years supporting federal government clients at the Director or Program/Portfolio Manager level (i.e., leading projects worth at least $2.5M/year and teams of at least 5 FTE)

-Bachelors degree from an accredited university

  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and experience managing/leading capture and proposal response end-to-end including pricing strategy

-History of working with the USDA or Commerce, strong buyer relations, presence in the market, and strong experience in business development.

  • Experience managing a variety of projects including management consulting, digital, and managed services

-Experience developing relationships with target clients through a variety of tactics

-Experience in leading/growing our advisory management consulting business, experience working on digital or large-IT projects is a desire given the firms focus in that area and our blended advisory/digital account team (e.g., experience working on projects related to Salesforce, ServiceNow, Cloud Migration, AI/Data Analytics, etc.)

What Would Be Nice To Have :

-Experience delivering and selling projects in the federal civilian market, ideally with USDA, Commerce, General Services Administration.

-A strong network with key government buyers and decision makers and connections with other firms (e.g., potential teaming partners) within the market.

-Membership or experience participating in events and conferences with target professional industry groups such as ACT IAC, AFERM, AGA.
