We take our role seriously and as part of the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability (ERS) Division, you will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services to deliver solutions that address critical occupational safety and health issues and support the military mission.

[[The ERS Division is seeking a highly motivated and qualified associate to support our defense clients across the energy, resilience, and sustainability portfolios. The successful candidate will enjoy working on small project teams to develop polices, strategies, and programs focused on enhancing energy resilience and achieving federal energy and emissions goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal energy, sustainability, and climate policies, be detail oriented, and be comfortable serving in a client facing role. Some travel may be required with this position. This is a hybrid position located in the Washington, D.C area, with the flexibility to work from home while participating in some in-person client and team discussions at or near CTC's Crystal City office.

  • Support energy policy analysis, strategy development, and pilot projects.
  • Research potential clean energy procurement opportunities and emerging technologies for onsite generation, in alignment with energy resilience goals.
  • Compile and analyze data on electricity usage, emissions, and progress towards clean energy targets.
  • Translate lessons learned into policies and strategies focused on improving installation energy resilience and achieving federal clean energy and emissions targets.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.

[[Basic Qualifications:]{verdana=""}]{new="" roman="" times=""}

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, public policy, management, or related discipline with three to six (3-6) years of relevant experience; Masters Degree preferred.

Proven experience in federal installation, environmental, and energy issues.

Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and relationships of Congress, the Department of the Air Force and other DoD organizations.

Strong communication skills, written and oral, supported by interpersonal skills that support being a liaison between organizations.

Ability and confidence to work closely with Air Force senior leaders.

Detail-oriented with ability to produce high-quality results.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Capacity to collaborate in a team setting and work independently to meet objectives
