The Red Gate Group is seeking a Communication Support Analyst to join CISA's Office of Bombing Prevention (OBP) in Arlington, VA. This role is crucial in developing, coordinating, and disseminating strategic communications to enhance understanding and awareness of OBP's mission and its valuable programs, products, and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the government in creating, coordinating, and disseminating mass and targeted strategic communications products.

  • Develop communication products that aim to enhance understanding and awareness of OBP's mission and the value of its programs, products, and services.

  • Assist in communication approval coordination with CISA and other external affairs offices.

  • Utilize various forums and media landscapes, including Office 365, magazines/publications, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and web postings.

  • Support the development, dissemination, and management of conference booth and exhibit marketing elements, including letters, newsletters, graphics, presentations, advertisements, social media posts, talking points, speeches, sound clips, videos, banners, posters, cards, user guides, fact sheets, tri-folds, and other promotional materials.

  • Maintain inventory of all marketing equipment and materials, ensuring alignment with current agency branding guidance across OBP.

  • Ensure effective knowledge management of all activities, messaging, and materials.

  • Support the government in developing user feedback, analysis, and research products, including surveys, questionnaires, analysis tools, and reports. These efforts aim to inform understanding of program, product, and service effectiveness, stakeholder satisfaction, and engagement.

  • Assist in developing stakeholder engagement analysis findings and recommendations through research, data collection, and identification of venues, opportunities, targeted sectors, and groups.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining a communications, outreach, and engagement strategic plan for OBP, targeting national, regional, state, local, and private sector CIED security and preparedness partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Clearance Requirement: None

  • BA/BS Degree

  • 3+ years of communications experience for government agencies

Desired Skills & Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of communications experience supporting DHS 

  • MA/MS degree
